Shathuki Perera

President

Shathuki is a fourth year Biologist at Jesus College. This is her 2nd time running as the President for the society (and the final time!) so she hopes to end her time at Oxford with a lasting contribution to the society. Being Sri Lankan is a big part of her identity, and through the society she hopes to share its beautiful culture with the rest of the Oxford community.

As president she is in charge of making sure the committee and society runs smoothly, and everyone is fulfilling their roles. Nishen Menerapitiya

Treasurer

Nishen is a 4th-year MEng student in Engineering Science at Brasenose College. What he adores most about Sri Lanka is its incredible weather and mouthwatering cuisine. In his own words, he’s always there with a friendly face in Oxford, ready to share some Sri Lankan tea and snacks!

Nuthara Karunarathna

Secretary

Nuthara is a second-year Computer Science student at University College (‘Univ’). Outside of her degree, she loves K-dramas, Doctor Who and reading urban fantasy.

Sahani De Silva

Social Media Officer

Sahani is a third-year medic at Balliol College. In her free time she enjoys going on hikes with the university’s walking club, experimenting on a limited budget in the kitchen and watching anime.
